We were very pleased with the roofing job from Smith Roofing. It took awhile to schedule our roofing & skylight project, however, it was well worth the wait. They completed the tear-off and new shingles within 4 hours. Their cleanup effort was very thorough. I climbed up on the roof later to inspect and was impressed with their craftmanship and attention to detail. We would definitely recommend Smith Roofing to others.

We had a full roof replacement. The job was done in one day. All debris was picked up and a magnetic roller was used for the nails. The price was in line with other local roofing companies. The roof looks great and best of all, there were no leaks during the storms!

The work his team did replacing our roof was of excellent quality, fairly priced, and was done very quick on the day of work. I would HIGHLY recommend them for anyone who has roofing needs.

Replaced 2 townhouse roofs and 4 skylights in Clinton, WI. One roof was in very bad shape and required new decking. Everything was completed in a matter of three hours and when they were finished you couldn’t even see they’d been there as they cleaned up perfectly! Honestly; have rarely ( if ever) witnessed such competent, hard working, efficient, quality work from a team. This was like observing a fine military operation; every members job executed with precision.
From tear off, to quality replacement’s of any questionable repairs needed; to ensuing shingle layment , to care given to surrounding home and property; this team was astounding!
In 2 days time a difficult roof, a barn , and a shed were replaced expertly and beautifully.

Matt came out to the house, was very cordial, gave us the information and options we needed, and walked us through the process. When it was time for the roof replacement to happen, they were quick and efficient with their work and clean-up. The end result looks great, and we’ve had no problems with leaks!

Matt was a joy to work with. Told us about the whole process and timeframe. Great selection of colors. On the day our roof was installed it only took them 4 hours and 15 minutes from the time they arrived to the time they left. Highly recommended

The siding on one part of our house was carried away by the recent blizzard we had in Elkhorn, and we had Smith Roofing and Exteriors in Elkhorn repair it. The replacement siding matched perfectly. The work was done very quickly and professionally. My wife and I are extremely happy with the work.

Matt is easy to talk to and work with. He explains the process thoroughly. His father ran the crew and showed me the damage to my roof considering I had replace 39 boards. The crew itself ran like a well maintained machine. I mean that. They lined up and marched them bundles right up the ladder. I have a 1350 sq ft house with a 2 car garage and even with the repairs, they got it done in about 5 1/2 hours.

Had a great experience working with owner Matt Smith to get my roof and gutters replaced. We love the new roof, it feels like such an upgrade! Matt was super easy to work with from our first meeting through the rest of the project. He laid out some options for us at our initial meeting and gave us time to figure out what worked best for us. When it came to roofing day, his guys came and got the roof done in a day and left no mess behind. They were even able to save a cupola on the garage roof that we are hoping to refinish. The new gutters work great and are a definite upgrade over our last ones. For one of the biggest projects on our house we've done so far, the team definitely came through! We love that they are a local business and would definitely recommend Smith Roofing to anyone in the area.

Update 2026: Had an issue with my flat roof after a recent storm (not originally installed by them). Chris came out to take a look and provided me with a diagnosis and how to best mitigate the issue. He and the team at Smith are still great to work with and I highly recommend them if you need a roofer!

About a month ago we noticed a tiny trail of water inside one of our upstairs bedrooms. We contacted Smith Roofing (highly recommended by local community members) and had them come out to inspect what we anticipated was a leak starting near our chimney. Every step from initial call to completion was top notch. Deb was easy to get information from. Chris was professional and quick in his assessment. The crew was efficient, kept a clean work area and had it all wrapped up same day. We are beyond thrilled with this entire experience.
