I can’t say enough good things about Smith Roofing and Exteriors. I had a roof leak and was in a bit of a panic. They came out right away, no hesitation, and not only checked everything thoroughly—but they also put a tarp on the roof completely free of charge to prevent any further damage. That kind of care and generosity is hard to come by these days.
The guy who came out was professional, friendly, and clearly knew his stuff. He gave me a detailed quote on the spot, explained everything clearly, and just had an overall awesome attitude. You could tell he genuinely cared about helping.
If you’re looking for a roofing company that’s honest, responsive, and goes the extra mile, Smith Roofing and Exteriors is the one to call. I’ll be recommending them to everyone I know. 10/10 experience.

There was a lot of hail damage in our area but Smith fit our leaky roof in. They did a great job and quickly before a rainstorm began. His trim and gutter guys did very good work as well. They were all polite and thorough with the cleanup. We definitely recommend Smith.
I found everyone at Smith roofing to be very professional. Nick was very responsive to my questions and any concerns that I had. They found a bath vent that wasn't properly vented and some fascia they felt needed replacing and just took care of it. The workers worked hard and you can tell that everyone was experienced and knew what they were doing. Great experience and highly recommend Smith roofing.

Nicholas always answered our questions and communicated with us. The crew took precautions for our gardens and did an EXCELLENT job. At one point seeing something that wasn't up to their very high standards and tweaking it to their standards before coming off the roof. 10/10 would recommend!!!!

After a recent storm we had noticed damage to our roof. What an amazing experience with this company. Matt was always very friendly and very communicative. Carl was also great to work with. They were quick to get the old roof tore off and the new one put on in the same day even with all the issues from the previous roof. I would highly recommend this team to anyone. Outstanding start to finish. From prompt initial return of my call, to estimate, to work completed in one day, to a spotless job site, could not have asked for anything better. It is truly amazing to watch the team in action.
We had some wind damage and had to have our roof replaced on short notice in Janesville. Had a number of different contractors look at the job. Matt and his team were extremely professional, prompt, and thorough, from the time of bid through the completion of the job. Smith Roofing did an excellent job on our house, garage & shed roof. Complete tear off on all three. Smith Roofing absolutely knocked it out of the park! One day for a complete tear-off and re-roof. They replaced any bad OSB and flashed everything beautifully. The 18 person crew cleaned everything up nicely. This 108 year old house never had a roof looking this good! Well done Smith Roofing!

Recently had new gutters, downspouts and leaf guards installed. Work was completed in about 1/2 day. Zayne and Trenton did a great job; installed everything per our request. Price quoted was the price we paid, no hidden, extra charges when work was completed. Thanks Matt and company!
